If you are female, feeling fit and able why not walk? With a choice of six or thirteen
mile routes available you can choose the distance which suits you.
If you don’t feel able to walk why not support us in other ways, by gift aiding your
donation, by helping provide refreshments or by being a marshal on the route, we
need dozens of volunteers every year to make this event a success.
The Moonlight Prowl is a charity walk in Fraserburgh designed to raise the awareness
of breast cancer and to raise funds for research in to this disease, which affects
the lives of one in nine women throughout the UK. This exciting challenge could be
your first step to better health, fitness and make a real difference to your life

Fraserburghs Moonlight Prowl continues to go from strength to strength with fund
raising efforts now totaling over £650k.
The annual event which is now a fixture in the North East events calendar has gone
from strength to strength since its inception in 2006, with the 2013 event raising
Treasurer, Pamela Manett said, “Once again we are overwhelmed by the support we have
received from all over the north east of Scotland. The funds have been used to
finance ground breaking breast cancer research and we remain proud of our continued
partnership with both Aberdeen University and Aberdeen Royal Infirmary”.
The 2014 event will take place on Saturday 7 June and registration will open on the
25 January 2014.
